I was working DTO/DTR today and a customer ordered a venti cup of hot water. This guy is a regular and gets this every morning. Since I’m almost always DTR, I see him every day. Today he came through, and after I handed him his water, he wordlessly handed me a $100 bill as a tip, smiled, and drove away. I was so happy, tears welled up in my eyes. I told my team immediately and everyone told me I did a good job! It was good to see my team so happy.

Yeah, most of the time our customers are okay. Nobody has thrown anything at us. But we’ve never had a customer give us such a large tip before!

i wasn’t working at my store at this time but one day my bf was working and this lady ordered a lot of frappuccino’s and literally gave a tip of $20 PER person that was working that day. it was crazy considering we usually have like 7-10 people on the floor

I have a regular who on every holiday tips us $100.
On the forth of July this year I was on DTR and he handed us the envelope and I thanked him and when I opened it i was just standing there in shock since I hadn't been on window on a holiday when hed done that before. He and his wife are there every single day and they're some of my favorite customers. It makes my day when they come through.

One of our regulars today came in and gave us a $100 tip too! These are the customers that help me hold on lol the ones who love us and appreciate the work we do for them. I got to work for my regulars not for SBux. I love my regulars so 🥰

IVs had customer get so mad they threw bananas at my partners. Then when I went to ask them to leave the started yelling at me and pushing me into the corner. The only time I’ve been scared of a customer while working.
