i’d just start taking some days off my availability. that way your days off are scheduled and you know you’ll get a break

I’m in this same situation!! Just tell her you can’t do that many hours or honestly, if it gets that bad, call out or get someone to cover you. Prioritize your school work and yourself, because the company could care less about the stress of their workers and they’ll keep working you until you start saying no😔

I've seen this question quite a few times over the past weeks. You are clear that you need only 20 hours. How would it work if you wrote up what you would like to say and her possible responses? Be brave, many others have asked for a reasonable schedule, you can do this.

Maybe talk to her, fix your availability according to what you’d prefer and in the meantime you can offer some of your shifts to fellow coworkers to alleviate your stress :)

Don't you fucking dare! I was given back to back just bcs the partner I'm working with had her significant other as the asm (who conveniently scheduled her shifts for her). It was obvious I was burnt out, yet they kept pushing me to do more work. Especially during audits, the heavy lifting and dirty work was given to me. The only green bean during that time was me and her.
