Hello first time posting here, I a pretty new green bean and my store is the busiest in my area. Yesterday was the first day of school for many around here and we ended up having an insane rush of 103 customers in a half and hour. 😓😓 thank goodness my coworkers are great and we all helped each other out.

Glad you have a good team to help out. Makes all the difference. 100 transactions is insaneeee! I recently transferred to a store that has 60 transactions in half hour & I thought that was crazy. Can’t imagine

Yeah, both of the cafe stores I was in were "supposed to be remodeled" years before I got there, and now it's been two years with the siren, no remodels in either lmao

Yeah I've been at my store 2 years, they keep telling us we're getting the mastrena 2s eventually.

yeah apparently my store was “fitted for the new mastrena 2’s” and we are “going to be remodeled” but i doubt it 😭 they moved all our supplies into a closet on the other side of the building so cs has to walk all the way thru cafe and that’s not ideal in a store that literally gets 200 customers an hour. everything sucks now and they’re putting a sticker printer on cold bar that prints mobile and cafe orders instead of just drive through orders and expecting us to constantly be at 30 seconds

Honestly I don’t care what corporate thinks, I’m happy we survived it. Many customers tell me that this isn’t even the closest Starbucks to them by a long shot but like to come to this one anyway. The siren is in no position to complain about us, we are bound by what what is physically possible.

That is my exact same attitude towards it, we’re doing our best. “We could always strive for more” ethic of starbucks means nothing when it’s only one way. Honestly that mantra has become a bit offensive. Like our ac keeps breaking, we have nothing in stock, and we have only gained nominal wage increases that are only meant to keep up with inflation but are portrayed as “raises” lol they can certainly do more themselves lol
