“Uh excuse me, I ordered a trenta why is it in a venti cup?” 😐
CharlieG66 22 points 1y ago
See we have a venti in a grande cup for delivery so I put the venti cup with coffee inside an empty grande cup. I haven’t gotten a complaint yet.
goldqueen287 7 points 1y ago
That’s pretty smart. They have the option of the grande cup and can throw it out if they didn’t mean it. I will be stealing this ty

School didnt prepare us for these kinds of problems

I wont lie i do this as a barista so theres less ice and no change in drink quality from adding water
sapphic-slut 5 points 1y ago
Why wouldn't you just say no ice/no water? I would be lost if someone ordered a Trenta in a Venti...
JeanLucPicardsAss 2 points 1y ago
In the past when ive ordered a refresher with no ice/no water i find its always filled up with either lemonade or base and the ratio is off
miakodank 2 points 1y ago
Yeaaa! I think when people say light ice or no ice they also need to say extra lemonade or extra base so we know .. and if they don’t specify then it should be half an half
pcrnography 1 points 1y ago
It shows you exactly how to do both on the back of the recipe card! The ratio does stay the same. I only found this out recently lol

Do they ask for it in a smaller cup because they think they’ll get the extra for free?
otter_ada 2 points 1y ago
Starting to think at this point that they order with their eyes closed.
_candlestick 1 points 1y ago
Just seems like a different way to ask for light ice? I don’t see an issue
miakodank 2 points 1y ago
The issue is that I didn’t even realize that till I saw someone explain it so I imagine a good amount of people like just making the smaller drink cus it doesn’t say no or light ice
