Every one has a co-worker who can push their buttons..
Is it too much to ask when everything seems to be falling apart that we at least take pride in doing things right. There is a partner I work morning shifts with that refuses to make sweet cream to standard. And when I say refuses, I really mean refuses. I was setting up to make it today while making drinks and she took it upon herself to take over as I was getting busy. Seeing as this was happening I said "if you're going to make it, can you please measure it and not just eyeball it?" To which she replied, not for the first time, don't tell me what to do, I know what I'm doing. We've had this discussion on several occasions and I've commented that her 'version' of sweet cream does not foam well. I tried to explain to her, yet again, that when she doesn't make it to standard, the VSC doesn't even hold together from blender to pour (separation is instant). Her response was loud and rude "you're not a shift, stop telling me what to do."
The fact that I am not currently an SSV is irrelevant but I am a 16+ yr partner and I value doing things to standard. Quality counts. Also, I did not disrespect her when I spoke to her but she always disrespects me in her responses.
End of rant..
