i worked 11:00 to 5:45 pm. only me and three other people on the floor. first i was taking orders for drive outside. lady yells at me bc she hates our store for always messing up her drinks (why does she even come then??).

after i’m put on cs. everything is going well until we’re getting slammed and i’m doing food, front till, signals, and cs. a lady chewed me out and snatched her food from me bc she said her wait was too long. another lady wasn’t wearing her mask and wouldn’t put it on bc she has asthma. called one of my co-workers a fascist pig when asked to put her mask on.

i tried my hardest but honestly we just needed more people. i’ve only been here for a month and there were so many things to do, i just didn’t have the time to do it all. has anyone else experience this :/

Keep your head up. I was a six year partner. From the sound of it, this the worst time to be working at Starbucks though, between labor shortages and supply issues. I’ve heard about some stores here in Chicago that are in such bad shape that they’re only serving drip coffee. Just remember, when someone chews you out or gives you a hard time, it’s a failing of theirs, not yours. You’re just doing your job. They’re the ones being assholes.

it never gets better. honestly. the longer you’re there the more they’ll expect from you and the less they’ll appreciate you. customers are truly the worst of humanity and starbucks management is selfish af.

3 year, newly former partner. yes i’m a little bitter but this company took 3 years of my life and i got nothing out of it😩
