Mobile Order Struggles (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by scarlettmuffin7
Does anyone else have the issue of things not being able to be turned off on mobile orders? I dont mean because it got maked out in the POS but not mobiles, i mean the fact that we dont have cold brew and there is no actual way to cut it off so we get 20 cold brew orders and cant make any of them. With our store being so slammed in the morning when we have people and so short staffed at night there are a lot of days where cold brew doesnt get made. Like??? Is it too much to ask for that?? Also with all the outages we're dealing with it would be nice to be able to mark out drink sizes. We run out of grande and venti cups so often so i have to put things in bigger cups and people get upset because theres "room" in the it. Idk i just think it would make things so much smoother.

can’t you just cut off the 5lb bag of cold brew beans?

but i agree with the cup size thing

This is the answer here! Even if you turn every other cold brew option, this Kittle button has to be turned off as well. It’s well hidden in the legacy item availability options.

Considering how badly us being out of every little thing (not to mention the fact that we ARE running out of so many things in the first place) is affecting our ccs and the stores themselves you'd think they'd update the system to allow us to mark more things as out. But whatever, I guess I'll just have to tell dozens of people we've run out of basic things whenever they come into the door 🙄

You can totally mark cold brew out of mobile order item availability. It’s under whole beans.
