I have officially promoted myself to guest today! I am so relieved, but it does feel bittersweet.

I turned in my aprons, Letter of Resignation, and my 5 page Partner Statement for the _Corrective Action Form_.

I'm done. Now I can prioritize my mental health and well-being as my first on-campus semester at my new college begins.

I am so glad to be free from this toxic work environment, with its rude "guests", swarms of wasps, and apathetic managers.

I will miss the friends that I made at this store, but hopefully I can see some of then again at college.

Also, I have submitted resumes for a couple of on-campus jobs. I am waiting to hear back, but I am optimistic, and I feel good about the school year :)

Best of luck to all of the partners that continue on with their Starbucks journey. Not every experience is like mine; some are worse, some are better.

I'm doing what is best for me. That should apply to whoever reads this too. I hope you are able to keep moving forward.
