I found out my childhood dog died today while at work. I feel like scum because I wasn't with him in his final moments. I'm trying so hard to hold my shot together. I just want to go home. I'm writing this in the 2 second "bathroom break" I had to take because I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I'm so sorry.

You should talk to your shift and ask to go home! They should be fine. I hope that you can start to heal soon and know that your pup loved you and had a great life 💗

I’m at a Tarbucks- pretty understaffed but I just had 3 family members pass, followed by my dog passing. Pretty bad 2 weeks to say the least. I straight up told them what was going on and they told me to go and just let them know when I’ll be back. If your shift has a problem with you grieving, call in sick. Very sorry for your loss💛
