Former reserve bar partner checking in—we had a core bar with all of the standard starbucks things. We also had a separate bar area with a manual espresso machine, coffee brewing equipments like siphons and clovers, and special cold brew. Being on r bar was just another possible position in a play. Opening/closing takes longer because you have a whole extra bar. You’ll have new recipes and techniques to learn. And there will likely be more of an emphasis on knowing history and science of our coffees. Have fun, I loved working a reserve.
