With so many other jobs hiring. The stresses that New York City partners go though is definitely not worth it.
Right as school begins partners are being told “directions from Seattle”
Are to cut labor so that Starbucks can meet their goal by the end of the fiscal year.
Never mind about how partners are dealing with the Lack of products, outages every single day, isolation for partners, and short staff because they want to continue on this path
Of “excellence”
that new and older partner realize it’s just not worth it. With just 2 partners on the floor, with mobiles and Uber’s and cafe customers still going.
Then throw the mix in on NYC mandate of vaccination. So when we ask what are our options? PARTNERS WHO WORK THE WHOLE TIME WITH OR WITHOUT
The vaccine.
We get 3 responses
“We are still currently getting a count of how many partner refuse so we don’t know
“You should apply for a medical exemption, or a religious exemption”
This is all the info they have from “Seattle”
Seattle makes rules for a city that is completely different culture.
Between the Karen and kevins getting upset over Splenda and oatmilk, etc we have to figure out the simple things like how to share cups with our sister stores
New York metro you are in serious need of leadership change. Seattle get over yourself and pay New York partners better. Till then,
Advice Nyc partners,It will never get better. Get a different job.
