I'd slap every single one of these on a pastry bag with a note that says, "See barista," so when (if) they came in to pick it up they'd have to look me in the face and confirm that's the beverage they want before I make it. Those orders are legit just trolling.

We get prank calls at my Starbucks. They called recently to say their drink was wrong. I was so helpful that it displeased them, as they eventually screamed “this is a prank” and hung up.

#funnyNOTfunny and definitely NOT amused. I haven't gotten ones this bad but definitely have gotten novels that I have had to cram into tall cups. It's really gross when the syrups fill 1/3 of the cups and then they want extra milk/breve, extra VSC, extra whip, extra caramel.. Some of these drinks alone can account for the shortages we are experiencing. 🤦

I had a bunch of teens come through and make up really stupid names. One was “hot stud” or something to that liking and I looked at him and said “I’m not calling this out.” They had their phones out and were most likely making a tiktok which pissed me off even more so I asked them to stop because I wasn’t a zoo animal here for their entertainment. They groaned because I wasn’t playing along and I was getting pissed off. They finally took their drinks complaining that I’d ruined their video so I yelled out “next time ask for consent to record before you act like that.”

If someone has an appropriately funny name and a reasonable (aka like 0-2 mod) order I might chuckle a little. We had a customer do a rhyme with her name on a mobile for a simple earl grey and it was cute. This is not.
