Transfer Sheets? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by [deleted]
Hey y’all, I really need to move stores. I won’t get into detail, but let’s just say I’m not getting any hours at my store, and I feel like I’m not being treated with respect. Im a trainer, but I’m being treated indigently as a new bean.

I’m trying to transfer to a store that’s closer to me, but I can’t find the sheet online in the hub. Any help?

Keep in mind that transferring stores usually requires you to stay at that store for 6 months before transferring to another one, unless there's emergency circumstances. I hope it works out for you

Oh god I hope not.

I have had an awful reaction to this store and it’s partners. I honestly just want to take my vacation and sick time off and leave. I just know I’m never gonna get promoted after what else happened.

Don’t forget you have to go thru the interview process again with a new store. That’s a brand new thing. Please correct me if I’m wrong at all about that part but before I have transferred 4 times. (Moving) I would just find a new store call the manager ask if they needed someone in my times and then tell my manager and they would connect and I would transfer on over. Like just gave my new manager a date and finished out my schedules at the old go to the new. My manager was just telling me today that we now have to be interviewed to make sure we “meet expectations” or something. She told all of us shifts. And had to make sure we connected with our baristas about it. I’m just there 4 days a week now and have another full time job, so I was half listening while trying to get the store open. Butttttt I was like huh… so extra. But I get it. Lol

I feel like that might be something your SM specifically is doing. Stores are so understaffed rn and it would be a horrible move to waste time interviewing someone already in the system. Like yeah an SM might not want to let just anybody transfer but they’re desperate for baristas rn.

She opened and printed it out from the hub so I’m not sure maybe it’s our district or state

Edit: I spelled state wrong lol

That’s really interesting. Maybe it is a new thing but tbh I don’t know if it’s going to be widely followed.

I guess I can connect with the new manager, he knows me and I’ve worked at his store a few times. I’ve never had to be interviewed when I moved but it could be a region thing.

Never had to go through an interview and I just transferred stores a month ago..? This doesn't sound right- I guess it depends on the area, but still-

As of like literally 2 weeks ago.. ish

One of my shifts I was close to helped me cause he was transferring too. In the hub somewhere you can search “transfer papers” and you can print them out! sorry if this is too vague but i hope you can find them 💞

I’m gonna reach out to an old partner and friend of mine back home. I just moved too and I really don’t want the added stress of work getting to me. I still can’t find it, but thank you for your response 💕
