That’s exactly right, we had the same thought lolz. My coworker on window asked about the color and I said I thought it was weird too. A while later he came over and took off the top. Lo& behold! Dark caramel! Me and the café barista were shocked pikachu

One year, and this was way back when I started, probably my first holiday season, we were making caramel brulee drinks. Just sitting there, pumping the syrup into the cups, making the drinks.
A shift walks over and is like, what are you doing?
Making caramel brulee, we answered.
The caramel brulee pump was screwed into a bottle of coffee base! Ahahaha we were making CBLs for a good hour or two with coffee base! Not one person complained.
Not like the time someone put a cube of frapp roast in with the cold brew...

I remember doing this on accident. But it was suppose to be frap roast but instead it was chai. No one knew
