Hey all, relatively new partner here. I started at my local Starbucks a few months ago right after my new SM got put in the position rather suddenly. She said that because she was thrown in the deep end, she didn’t have schedules up to date but that she would by the end of the week.
Well, it’s been almost four months and not once have we had all three schedules up. I understand that scheduling is difficult right now with covid call outs and being short staffed, but this week’s schedule was posted on Sunday night.
How do I deal with this? I don’t want to be the only one to bring it up with her since I’m still a new partner. Every time somebody brings it up, she says that our availability makes it too hard, but we HAVE to turn in everything but sick days 21 days ahead of time, which should give her time to schedule it. She also posts on Facebook and FaceTimes people while she says she’s in the back doing admin work.
I feel overwhelmed and I know that everybody else does too. How do we bring it up with her? She’s not incredibly approachable.
