I get this question a lot as a store manager. What I tell my team is if it's a permanent thing then no. However, I know a lot of times if someone is going to a wedding for instance or an event, they may want to get their nails done a few days in advance and keep them done for like a few days when they get back. I tell them that if it's something like that then it's fine if they wear gloves as long as like they wear gloves the entire time they're working and their nails are done. Also, by keeping that open dialogue and being flexible I find my team typically respects the standards and the rules more because they know that if there's something like this they can just talk to me about it.

no but if you’re going to do it , you’re gonna need boxes of them . if you’re on bar , you gotta change out your gloves every time you get a new drink to avoid cross contamination
