Whether you forget how to make it, never remember the recipe or just fk up for some other reason, what is it?
For me, I always forget how many scoops of matcha in some sizes, and the Iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso. I forget it’s blonde half the time and that cinnamon comes with it. I’ve improved though 🤭😂

I actually looked it up on storelink just now and…as of January it does still go in the matcha green tea Frappuccino BUT I’ve been using the wrong amount. I thought it was 122 like with the strawberry Frappuccino, NOPE it’s 234! AFAIK that makes it the only Frappuccino that gets 234 full dose pumps. Wow… I’ve been at Starbucks for over 5 years and have always done 122.

It's vanilla bean. It's a vanilla bean with frap roast, just like how the java chip is the double chocolate chip with frap roast! It's on the side of the order screen if you ever get confused, and also there should be recipe cards at your store too!

Flat Whites for me. It’s not even that I don’t remember the recipe it’s just that I forget to move the cup to the side when making the hot version. (Mastrena I) So my hot Grande/Venti usually gets that fourth and final shot when it should only get three. I just forget almost every time! But I’m a whole milk lover so never forget that.😁

I am still new (5 days/8 days with training) and I've come to realize that so many of my Mocha cookie crumble frappes that I've ordered in the past were made incorrectly! Most baristas make it like a normal frappe, blend everything together and dump it into a cup BUT I've learned that it's whip cream at the bottom, then cookie crumble, the frappe, whip cream, mocha drizzle, and more cookie crumble.... I WILL NEVER MAKE THAT DRINK WRONG, I VOW IT!!!

don't worry you'll change your mind vv soon, most likely because someone orders four of them at the window during peak, or you don't have mocha drizzle bottles out, or you don't have frap chips, or base, or mocha.... you get the idea.

I didn’t know a lot of shit until I switched locations and had to do the training again. Never knew you put classic in any fraps, and would always forget how many matcha scoops to put in matcha lattes. Oh, and I didn’t know for months that you’re supposed to put vanilla syrup in VanCrm Cold Brews. Though it was just the vanilla sweet cream lol

This!!!!!! My partners and I are always fighting about whether it gets vanilla or not. But when our customers order it, they tell us they want the foam that tastes like nothing. So I don’t use vanilla in it and that’s the way I was taught.

For me.. the cappuccino, I do the shots on bottom and then foam whatever milk they asked for in the foam blender on 4, pour to line, add ice. For an iced flat white, I just do ristretto shots like normal and then whole milk to line and then ice. 🤷♀️

For Iced Cappuccinos its the standard amount of shots, ice to the 2nd black line and blended 2% on four the rest of the way. Of course of they requested a different milk make it with that.

To be fair to both of you the old recipe for the matcha latte included classic. They took it out a couple years ago though and it was basically a footnote in a weekly update so it would be easy to miss.

we were out of salt since i started (320**) so i never officially learned how to make the SCCFCB, i would just do half pumps caramel, cold brew, ice, and vanilla cold foam. I think that’s how the old recipe was, just with salt in the foam? Anyway, we got the salt back and they changed the recipe, I checked the iPad recipe card and I SWEAR the updated recipe was just plain iced cold brew with the SCCF (1 full pump caramel, 2 salt) but my coworkers were telling me there’s vanilla in the cold brew with the SCCF on top. 🥴🥴🥴🥴 no clue and honestly idk if anyone cares

I most recently worked at the bux after living in the UK for a few years. I moved from London to Virginia; so often some serious southern accents to contend with. Every time someone ordered a Caramel Cloud Macchiato I though they were saying Caramel QUAD macchiato. Okay, weird way to order, but 🤷🏽♀️. Not really: at my first store, unfortunately, I was neglected/hazed a tad so at night it was common for me to be left up on the floor alone while everyone else was doin idek what in BOH or just talking and not helping me. I would be taking orders in drive/cafe myself, getting all food, and making all the drinks and it would get a lil busy sometimes too. I was too new to know that they weren’t supposed to be doing that lol.

I learned a venti caramel ribbon crunch has 6 dark caramel pumps (according to the app) literally tonight after telling a friend that a customer asked for like 6 extra sugar packets for their frap. I’ve been putting 4 this entire time.

Okay I figured it out. The app factors in the dark caramel sauce that you pump over the whipped cream at the bottom of the cup. Its 1 pump for tall, 2 for grande or venti. So when you add that to the actual caramel blended frappuccino, it goes 3, 5, 6. You were doing it right!!

On both actually. They always come out pretty much white, too much foam. My Mastrenas are both seven years old, so the steam wands often put out either not enough steam or not hot enough. Tough to heat a decent milk, thus the shitty latte art.

I was kidding, yeah. The joke is not that obvious apparently, my bad. For a most honest answer : I stopped adding hot water in Chai Tea Lattes like two weeks after I learned how to make it. And I pretty much always add a couple pumps of flavor syrup in regular frappuccinos.
