the thing is: starbucks has never said we can’t sell venti nitros because of the caffeine content. the reasoning is that it pretty much deflates before you can drink a whole 26 ounces of it. literally the first result on google.
realistically, no matter what industry you work in, the business is negatively impacting the world in some way. it sucks, but you’re in no way personally responsible for all the ills of the world. you’re literally just trying to survive like everyone else.

Yeah, I just say caffeine because it's the fastest way to get people out of my window, actually explaining anything takes too much time and I get in trouble for fucking up the drive thru times.

Could just be a district thing then. The venti (and trenta, I might add) option for nitro is blocked out on POS and both managers I’ve had have been adamant that we’re not allowed to sell nitros in venti and trenta because it’s too much caffeine. Coworkers have been told the same thing.
