That's the worst, when you enforce standards and your sm is a pushover. I have this customer who comes in every day for his trenta black tea refill and two trenta ice waters. The customer doesn't stay in the store, and never even brings his cup back. Don't think he's ever paid for a tea. Sm just let's him, so now we all have to

This was the same SM that wrote me up for "not providing the Starbucks experience" because I told a woman she had to keep her mask on and she lost her shit. I asked her to leave if she couldn't communicate respectfully. She called corporate and complained about my customer service.

Edit: This happened last March while the mask policy was still in effect and there was also a state wide mask mandate.

That's dumb, that just leads to more confusion and less consistency which is what we are supposed to pride ourselves on. Your SM should have said to do the old this time thing. "hey we can do this for you this time, but know that going forward we can only add four ounces to a beverage before we would have to charge for it."

She was a total pushover, between giving customers whatever they want and letting partners NCNS regularly it ruined my desire to work at Starbucks anymore. Didn't help that I was the main closing SSV and at least one partner called out every night.

Honestly I'd rather have the three milks than those damn sugar packets. We have a regular that wants 12 sugars and I'm like fuck. Cause I'm petty and will make their drink exactly as they told me. My coworkers will just do the syrup.

I have a woman that gets a tall white mocha with 5 sugars in a grande cup and I'm just like why like she's early enough so it's not peak but I'm just like ask for an extra pump of white mocha

they’re trying to get a full iced late by only paying for the shots and adding a “splash” of the three different milks
