just be honest. twice now i’ve had to cut back hours due to mental health and my managers have been supportive. for the weeks you’re already scheduled you would probably have to find your own coverage unless your manager offers to do it for you like mine did.

same here! only been with starbucks for about 3 weeks, each week has been 40 hours, it’s ridiculous. i also requested 20-25 lol. i don’t understand how sbux expects to keep new hires when they just throw them into the fire right off the bat. i know how you feel, getting scheduled to work the peak when you’re brand new is super overwhelming. your SM seems nice, so hopefully they can help you out. i actually put in a request to change my availability to 4 days a week, you might want to do that as well, hopefully that’ll make it less overwhelming!! you can request new availability through this link!https://starbucks-wfmr.jdadelivers.com/retail after you log in this should take you to your schedule, and on the side bar you can go to “my availability” and request new days/times. you also have the option to write a short note about why you’re making the change. hopefully this helped!!
