Do you find that male customers or female customers tend to be ruder/more snappy? If so, explain. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Why does it have to be based on gender? Most of the people I deal with in general at Starbucks are rude.

In my experience, it’s mostly women. I’ve had some rude male customers as well, but honestly they’re few and far between in comparison to the amount of rude women who come in. I also can’t even say that the possible reason is that we have more women come in, because the truth is, it’s about 50/50 women and men. I will say though, that mothers tend to be extremely kind, warm, and patient. I get most problems from middle-aged to older women. I work in a not-so-progressive town where a lot of the population don’t necessarily like black people (I’m black). I have customers who treat my white coworkers great but either completely ignore me or are very nasty to me. So honestly, at least at my store, it could be because of that, and not necessarily the gender thing. Idek at this point.
