Used to have a regular who'd as for 4 ice cubes exactly, 3 for his wife's drink. Y'all customers are fucking TRIPPING if u think I'm gonna count your ice for you 😭 I'm busy you get half a scoop
SavannaHeat22 points1y ago
I have a (regular) customer who always asks for 3 ice cubes. It has to be exactly 3.
ItzBoogieMan7 points1y ago
Give her 3 and eat one
Crowchick173116 points1y ago
Lmao I'd so put 11 or 12. Are you actually counting them? (The customer not you)
hannamarinsgrandma23 points1y ago
Yes.
Someone said a customer once asked for 32 pumps of syrup in their tea then complained, insisting there was only 17 pumps
Not 15, 16, or 20 but specifically 17.

there’s a guy at my store that asks for 4 ice cubes in his pike. 4 ICE CUBES that will DEFINITELY MELT by the time he gets it
I never actually count how many I put lmao

My SM asks for a couple ice cubes in her black coffee so she can drink it right away
bootrick7 points1y ago
I mean, a specific number of ice cubes is most reasonable in drip coffee. Melting and lowering the temperature is the point.
sharkiemd12 points1y ago
theres a regular at my store that orders a venti mango dragonfruit but with only 1 berry
i put at least 3 in every time
canidieyet_2 points1y ago
I’ve gotten orders like this. Someone asked for 2 ice cubes, I put 3 by mistake. You’d think I just insulted his entire bloodline
Opposite_Ferret64808 points1y ago
I prefer light ice myself, but being that specific, at that point dude just ask for no ice in your drink and a tall cup of ice on the side and do it yourself, we don’t have time to count your ice cubes 😭 I understand if you need to have it be exact like if you have OCD difficulties or are picky about watery coffee but no barista is gonna happily do that unless business is slow as heck or they genuinely think it’s funny..
BovineCurds8 points1y ago
Like at that point just order it no ice lol
ViAmplify5 points1y ago
i got yelled at because the 10 ice cubes in a HOT americano melted
eunoiadrea3 points1y ago
I’ve had someone say 1 Ice cube
darkwolf5231 points1y ago
Damn you beat me. Had someone asked for 2
Brgnbo3 points1y ago
This guy today asked for five ice cubes in his coffee, they all melted and he got upset he didn’t get ice in it.

Customer asks for two strawberries in their ice water 😩with no water🧐
dangerousdeliights2 points1y ago
i had a regular who ordered four ice cubes with her drink. when i made it for the first time, she leaned over to tell me about it, and my coworkers had to tell her i already knew
Ok_Branch_44161 points1y ago
We have a regular who either gets a trenta strawberry açaí with light water or a venti brown sugar shaken espresso and if they have more than 5 ice cubes she throws an absolute fit it’s so annoying 🙄
dallizzlee [OP]1 points1y ago
Omg how do you even shake espresso without ice
sully98121 points1y ago
Y’all lmao, we once had a woman order an iced matcha with light ice. One of my baristas handed it her out the window and she proceeded to promptly throw it right back IN THE WINDOW because it “had more than 12 cubes of ice.” At the time, we didn’t have a store manager so we remade it and asked her not to come back. Our manager now says if that ever happens again, we’re calling the police for assault. I wish we’d done that at the time 🙄
canidieyet_1 points1y ago
We have a woman who wants her frap made with exactly one ice cube. Just to complain that “we always make it too watery but I’ve been standing her x amount of minutes so I GUESS I’ll take it” every time
Roseyy-Girl1 points1y ago
So, not an ice situation, but back when raspberry syrup was a thing, we had someone that would get a venti water with 5 pumps rb and2 berry pieces on top. Idk why, I guess presentation, but yeah.
