So I recently made the decision to graduate to customer, but my last day won't be until mid-October. I enrolled for benefits in August and it says that is supposed to start on Oct 1st.
Do I still get them until I quit? Rather, how does this work at all?

You’ll have coverage til the end of the month.

This is correct, and is the way it works in the insurance industry in general. If you have insurance on the first of any month, you will keep it until the end of that month.
