You can add your numbers on the app as a card to scan for your markout/discount and they shouldn't ask then.

last time i scanned and the markout button kept messing up and we had to restart the order 😭😭 i never know how to make it easier

Hmm. I support you and this would make me nervous too, but having your numbers on the app to scan should work fine. Maybe you can delete and reload it, and try it at your own store before trying it out. Good luck! :)

i can try again! i scanned at my store and when my coworker pressed markout it kept denying it and we had to reset the order

Huh that’s weird. When the box is up to type in the numbers, you should be able to scan and it’ll just auto fill.

They let me put my preferred name in the system so it's what shows up when I put in my partner numbers! Of course it does make it kind of awkward bc it isn't what's on my id so I can't exactly show them it as proof but usually I j tell em I'm trans and where I'm work and they're very cool w it ! No one's given me trouble so far. As for being anxious ordering, just remember, chances are no matter what you get it's not going to be the weirdest order of the day, nor will you be the worst customer of the day. Your interaction lasts moments, don't be afraid ! (Coming from someone with severe anxiety issues 😭😩)

im sure its worse for her that sounds so irritating!! i understand why they ask like i get i seem super sus when i nearly faint while ordering a frap but im just nervous i feel guilty asking people to make me stuff!!!

i think theres smth online that lets you change the name maybe?

Partner Info has a section where you can enter a “preferred name”. This is the name that will show up on the screen when you use your mark outs as well.

My gf already has done this- some bitchass baristas still get "confused" seeing my gf's preferred name on the screen and ID card with her deadname on it and i literally have to restrain myself from screaming at them bc some of them are so fucking d e n s e omfg

My SM has my name as my preferred name in the system and it’s the only thing that shows anyway expect my partner info and the hub….

You can put a preferred name in the system. Still some places ID you so that sucks.
