Today we have a broken bar, a broken blender, and no card readers.
We usually average about a 30-36 second window time and today we are pushing 50-70😭😭😭
Update: we are now also out of egg trays, oatmeal bowls and lids, and the buttons on the other blender are getting wonky.

30-36 second window time?? Literally how LMAO I thought window times like that were myths made up by SM and DMs. That sounds like a shitty situation, though. Hope it gets sorted soon!

Wow, how do you get such good DT times? Is your DT always busy? Are you fully staffed?
I hope your day runs a lot smoother and customers are understanding! If it makes you feel better, stuff like that happens on a daily at my store. One time 2 out of 3 bars were down and we had no food 😬

We are a pretty high volume store. We are actually the busiest store in our district. And that’s definitely peak window time! Not all day. It’s closer to 45-50 in the afternoons.
I guess we are just a fast store. Luckily, we have about 30 partners. So during peak we are running 6-8 person plays depending on the day. We have been understaffed lately, but usually staffing is pretty good. During the holidays we were getting as low as 29 second window times but, now that we have proven we can be fast, we are focusing on customer connections.

Nice! My store's goal is still DT times. We are also the busiest store in the district, but I think there are less than 20 partners now. 30 partners is unheard of! And you're understaffed st that? I would love to work in a store that's that well staffed. We could definitely use 30 partners, but the most I've seen is 22, maybe 24. Like your store, we can get DT goals in the early morning, but once peak hits we generally don't recover until late afternoon, if that.
Great job with the DT times and I hope your customer connection score isn't due to things out of your control, but sorry if it is! Good luck getting the score up there so your store can be both fast and great all-around!

Honestly it’s wild how many people we have. I’ve never worked somewhere that had more than 12 partners before. I used wonder all the time how the heck we are understaffed. I recently found out that we are up to 40 hours under labor each week. And honestly people are constantly calling out and showing up late. We’ve had several Covid cases. There are many partners that work less than 20 hours and 3-4 that work only 1 day a week. The store down the street with us closss down due to Covid all of the time. And we are right across from an event center. So maybe it’s just that, despite having a lot of partners, we feel understaffed as we are often getting hit from all sides.

That's crazy! Man, your influx must be insane from the other store(s) closing, plus the high-traffic area. It's good Starbucks takes the precaution of closing but on the other hand it sucks from a staffing perspective. Can the partners from the other store that didn't have a close contact cover at your store so they can still get hours and it would help with the staffing at your store from the customer influx?

Wow! A few days ago we only had 3 people during peak. One person on front, one solo bar, and I was solo DT and was doing my own warming. I dream of having 8 people during peak.

We have a pretty large store and are pretty high volume compared to my previous experiences. We make $8k in peak alone some days.

Yeah my store is crazy busy too. We were looking at our daily records for last weekend, it was chaos all day. In a half hour period during peak we served 45 customers I think, each of them had multiple drinks too. Just chaos.

We have no hot bar pitcher rinsers, tall iced cups, short cups, egg trays, caramel drizzle, mango dragonfruit base. I’m sure I’m missing something
