It was my first time at lobby bar during peak hours today. I’ve been on drive thru bar and lobby bar before but never during peak. I’ve worked at the buck since March and I’ve been told I’m good on bar and I know I can be efficient. Anyways, this woman (let’s call her L*) was waiting for a mobile order and I was swamped with them. There was a person stationed at mobile order to help pass out drinks. I didn’t get L’s* name the first time and I personally asked for her name the second. I didn’t see her drink so I assumed cold bar was working on it. Then comes another woman and she said she got the wrong drink at the drive thru. So she hands me the drink and I put it on my bar so I can take the sticker off and remake it for the right person it goes to. Then I’m also told to make her drive thru drink because nobody could find it. So I make her drink and realize L* is still waiting and I ask her again for her name cause I couldn’t remember and then I check to see if it’s done and I see the name and hand it to her. She doesn’t touch it and says “I just saw that woman hand you that drink from the drive thru. Are you f** kidding me.” I didn’t realize and took it back apologized and remade it. While I was remaking it, the person at drive thru asked why in the world did I hand it to her when it came from the woman from drive thru. I saw L* later come back in and talk to my ssv. I felt so guilty and kind of wanted to cry. I didn’t purposely hand the drink to her because I was lazy or being negligent. I had a lot of drinks and was trying to get them all out, I didn’t realize what I did till it was too late. I made a mistake and I feel terrible and felt even more terrible when my coworker on drive bar was berating me about the drink :(( I felt so anxious and overwhelmed the rest of the time I was on bar. I just feel like everyone is going to be talking about it now and I just don’t know what to do about it :((
