Try it or not? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Before being in the medical field I had previous experience in the food industry as a trainer and shift manager. Ive recently felt so bored with my office medical job that I applied to Starbucks and had an interview for a shift supervisor position. My interview went great and I really think I have a good chance at getting the position. The money is even better then what I’m
Making now. I’m scared for such a big change though. Should I just go for it?

It's hit or miss heavily dependent on your location (customer demographics) and manager. Hang out in your prospective store during rushes and watch to get a feel for it. Maybe try to talk to another shift lead, but if they're hurting for people they might sugar coat things to hook you. The public isn't all that nice to the service industry right now. It will be very different but if you're resilient and like the pace, it can be fun too.
