Lawsuit was claiming that Starbucks was illegally shorting customers by topping off the drinks with milk foam. You know, how lattes have been made forever? Lol.

No agreement, I received an email that certain partners may have been discriminated against in trying for promotions. But now I can't find the email or anything about it online so perhaps it was fake.

I had gotten an email and a postcard about it. Definitely remember that being a thing. But I never followed up with it.

I remember that. Starbucks changed their process for hiring people and giving promotions at the same time that memo came out and they even said they changed that stuff to lessen the possibility of discrimination. Pretty sure it’s real.

It was real. I filled it out online and as far as I know, no one has received any info yet. Was less about receiving a payout and more about letting the company know there are still too many partners getting discriminated against, most for petty reasons.
