I was told that the date stickers are discontinued and we’ve been told to label with sticky notes that don’t stay on or hold use by date. Is this true? Are there better alternatives ? Thanks guys

Who told you this? I'm new to the company - only a little more than a month in - but it's been drilled pretty hard into my head that day dots are a non-negotiable standard. They hold well, but are water soluble so that they disintegrate when washing dishes.
I have not heard, and would have a hard time believing that day dots would be discontinued.
