If your trainer wasn't there to train you, you shouldn't have been training...or as least stuck to modules. That's brutal.

Yeah my manager said she didnt want to delay my training so I would have a bunch of different baristas training me, but these baristas were understandably very busy during their shifts so I did not get a lot of training from any of them. Now I just feel unprepared and felt like I did not learn anything :/

We have multiple baristas train new partners, but they still follow the actual training plan. You should have definitely done the online modules, they take several hours. Talk to your manager about the process you experienced and explain that it’s not beneficial to your learning style.

That’s what I thought, I was prepared to be doing modules my entire shift yesterday

Unless the baristas were certified as trainers, they should not have been made responsible for your actual training. Shadowing is one thing, but as you weren't even given a proper initiation training, you should not have been put on the floor like that.

Talk to your manager. Let them know you understand their desire to get you active as soon as possible, but you're concerned with ensuring positive customer experiences and not being properly trained before left on your own will hinder that. If they are difficult about it, go to your DM.
