Can you use sick pay for vacation or to help with pay? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Curious how I can use my sick pay? I have been sick a few times here and there and I am going out of state to visit family in two weeks would it be acceptable to use it? Because I’ve tried asking other partners and no one knows the answer. Sorry if this question seems dumb ! 🖤

In Nevada it is legal. Idk about other states. Maybe just be “really sick” on your hopefully super awesome vacation away from SB

Can you use sick pay when you aren’t sick, and for a vacation? No.
Can you retroactively apply sick pay to a day you were sick, missed a shift, and didn’t use sick pay at the time? It might be possible - talk to your SM.
