The default drink is blonde, so decaf is the modification you follow. It does the same if you put in a decaf brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso

Right.. but if I get a sticker that is modified to decaf it won’t have blonde added underneath it. It usually only says decaf.

If the default recipe for the drink calls for blonde espresso, it will still say blonde even if decaf is selected.

It’s the same thing! It just goes in a drizzle bottle instead of the box, but my store doesn’t make drizzle bottles bc of how infrequently it’s ordered

Yeah, I'm not sure about that particular issue, myself. I've been told by a shift supervisor that it's not safe to put cold foam on a hot drink.

The Irish Cream Americano. 2019 in Canada, at least. It's an Americano with Irish Cream syrup and cold foam on top. I believe they changed it to a misto last year, but partners are still having hot drinks with cold foam at my store.

It doesn't. I drink an americano with 1 tbs of heavy cream and there's no curdling. I also drink an americano with cold foam once a week, and it doesn't curdle. Citrus and acid cause curdling, I.E. milk in passion tea, coconut milk in literally all of the refreshers curdles immediately, but it's a standard drink. Milk doesn't curdle from heat.

You're not the first person on Reddit to mention that curdling is not a safety issue. Curds is a food. It's just this thing that a few of the baristas at my store act like is a big deal. If it was such a big deal, Starbucks would put it in a safety training module. They don't. But I find it easier to pretend that it's a big deal rather than have those baristas tell me I'm endangering people and risking our store getting in trouble for making a customer sick.
