Yea. So the new machine should’ve come with a lubricant. You’ll notice the rubber ring on it and it’s supposed to get lubricated when you feel it get more difficult to turn. Ask if it’s somewhere or you can ask your SM to order one off the weekly order.

I transferred into my store and they used pliers. I ordered the lubricant and instead of the tiny industrial strength tube, I got a giant bottle that said LUBE in huge letters. My SSV putting away the order put it ion my desk with the reddest face and told me... Uh, I don't know why this was sent.

We just got the Mastrena 2’s at my store a couple weeks ago, and sometimes they’re also hard to turn and lock if there’s build up from the tabs in the threads - I had to use a bottle brush and hot water from the brewer to clean the threads the other night to close it

Sometimes the locks at my store stick too! I hate it and it hurts my hand soo bad when I try to fix it.

Try to pour some hot water on it and use a spoon to help you get leverage

I use the warming tongs! Everyone who was closing had a difficult time then one day I’m like screw this grab some tongs and use them for leverage (I clean them afterwards )
