Ice-blended beverages require ice?! Who would’ve thunk it.

I did that for a delivery order, and promptly underlined the “no ice” on the stickers to show those people that’s what they’re gonna get if they do that.

I just add the ice. I don't have time for a customer to berate me for a remake.

Oh Lord, and when you proportion everything else out correctly so a venti cups about a third of the way full even with whipped cream in it yeah that's some satisfaction right there

Honestly, I personally (and also my store for the most part) have low-0 tolerance for change requests on mobiles. I would have made it without ice and depending on attitude and time of day not remade it if they told me thats not what they wanted. Mobile orders are supposed to be hassle free and I try to keep it that way lol.

This happens at my store all the time, not a drive through though so we hold them until the customer shows up and then ask them. I once had a mom make her teenage daughters feel really dumb for this after I explained that a Frappuccino is a blended beverage with ice, and no ice means you get half a cup of stuff that probably won’t be tasty…I laughed in my head. My other favorite one I see all the time is someone ordering a bigger drink in a smaller cup. “Grande in a tall cup” but why??? How???
