So I’m a green bean and i’m confused about the 3 week scheduling. (self.starbucksbaristas)

at my old job at dunkin it was that by the end of the week she would have the schedule any time from friday-sunday for the next week. but how does the scheduling for starbucks work. is it that i will always know my schedule 3 weeks in advance and he still makes a schedule a week or will the three week period all be released at once?

I believe the standard is to have 3 weeks worth of schedules up at once. The current week, the next week, and the following week. And the third schedule should be put out by the current week's Monday end of day.

Your manager should post a schedule on Monday, maybe Tuesday if they're late, for the week starting two weeks in the future. (A week is Monday-Sunday.) So for example, right now you should have a schedule through October 24. On Monday, you'll get your schedule for Oct 25-31. A week from Monday, on Oct 18, you'll get your schedule for Nov 1-7. So you always know your schedule at least 2 weeks from a given day.

Make sure to get the Partner Hours app so you can see your schedule and request time off. Find the download instructions by logging into $1, searching "app quick reference" and clicking the first result. You can also log into the web version $1.

(This is all if you're in a corporate store, if you're licensed it's probably different)

yea i have the app. thank you for the explanation it’s very helpful!
is there anyway to get a notification when he posts the schedule or is that not an option?

Unfortunately no. The only thing I can think of is if you have a time-sensitive situation, like another job that schedules you around Starbucks, explain it to your manager and ask nicely if he’ll text you when he posts a schedule.

At my store my manager always has two weeks scheduled out and sometimes they get ahead of themselves and have it even up to a whole month out. I've heard some managers are better or worse at scheduling notice.
