Who’s your favorite regular and why? (self.starbucksbaristas)

there’s a lot of people who come into Starbucks and they’re not the greatest. but, between those bad interactions, there’s always a handful of people who are some really kind, understanding individuals.
who is is your favorite customer? what makes them your favorite customer? it’s always nice to think of the people who make working here a little more bearable!
I’ll start:
I have a customer named Steve who always comes in for a tall vanilla iced coffee. he always tips and talks about his day before sitting to read the newspaper with one of his friends. he often appreciates the work that me and my fellows partners do at the store and hes always delightful to see when im working:D

TOO MANY TO COUNTTT! I have Samala who gets a skinny vanilla latte, she tells me all about her day, asks me about mine and throws compliments at us, then there is Megan and Amber, a mother and daughter pair that comes in for white mochas, Amber always shows us pictures of her kids getting into mischief and Megan is a director, actress and producer, that has given me the cold truth about the entertainment industry but also validated my dreams of one day working in that industry, and finally there is Jackie, she comes in around one and just studies and reads magazines until close, she will take small breaks to talk to us, the sweetest woman EVER!!

this high schooler who everytime she sees me says "there's my favorite barista!!" I love doing makeup and do crazy stuff on my eyes and she always compliments me. I adore her and she always makes my day a million times better. also my other regular who comes in and goes "hey hey, can I get, a grande latte!" he always has the best attitude and cutest dogs haha!

My boy Abraham! He’s an older gentleman who orders a venti iced coffee w/ 12 pumps of classic and an old fashioned donut. Always comes up to the window super happy asking me how my day has been and all that jazz. I think I’m especially drawn to him because there’s a bit of a language barrier between us so I admire the small talk we do have.. and a cherry on top is that he tips $5 every day — no idea where he’s getting it from but that’s not my business!

melanie and her greyhound liam!! the back seats of her car are permanently down so liam can have a big bed and come on rides every day while she does her errands. he never acknowledges us, but she is so sweet and always shows us pictures of liam in lil costumes. i love her

I have an older gentlemen named cliff! Sometimes he comes in with his dog Goldie or one of his few brothers! He's very polite and always asks questions about us baristas and whomever is at the window always takes a little time to chit chat. He gets a tall vanilla latte with extra whip cream, sometimes in a grande cup if he wants extra extra whip. Literally the sweetest guy.
