was working the closing shift tonight when a couple came in with a draft of a rush. Nothing too crazy just consistent. Saw the boyfriend go over to wait in line and his girlfriend departed to keep me company at the bar!!!! She demanded water, I side eyed the line and then fully turned my head towards her boyfriend and when she saw me clearly trying to piece this demand she said “my boyfriend is in line ordering water.”. I literally just blank stared as one can only do. I then reiterated “your boyfriends ordering the waters… So why did you ask me for water?”.. Her boyfriend met her in front of the bar and watched me take the stickers for their waters and place them on the cups. I felt it appropriate to hold their water cups like this so they could clearly see 🙋🏻‍♀️.. They started speaking rudely about my gestures in spanish.. which i speak and then proceeded to eye me down as i filled their water cups.

and no they did not say thank you 😩
