Today we had a customer come in with their kid & order 4 items in total. They start off by asking for a sf vanilla Frappuccino, I proceed to tell them that the vanilla frappe comes with vanilla bean powder & not vanilla syrup but we can change it for you. A partner made the drink but the customer went outside to their car and left their kid inside (about 15-17yr old) we yell the name, the kid isn’t paying attention and doesn’t get the drink. Minutes past nobody gets the drink so a partner put it to the side and they wait to make the other drink until the person comes back in. When the parent comes back they take the drink then go back outside, minutes pass and they come back in for the other drink, the partner makes it… the parent goes back to the car and come back in and is like there is supposed to be two drinks even tho we made both drinks… kid not paying attention didn’t come get the drink. It was a mess. The parent goes back outside while I remake the drink they clearly already had… I’m yelling the name nobody answers. I look at the kid for a minute yelling the name then we make eye contact… must’ve made them uncomfortable Bc they came quickly and left in a hurry. Pay attention to what you order and when they call your name get your gdm drink.
