Tell them how much you would like to be paid and if they can’t meet it that you’ll walk. I’m sure they’ll let you leave and replace you within the day.

They will absolutely not raise their pay, but replace them within the day? Starbucks is having hiring problems all across the country. We have 16 partners and we’re supposed to have 35 because Starbucks pays so little that no one wants to work for them

Starbucks corporate does not leave any flexibility in wages. Since they aren't performance based, everyone gets the same wage no matter what. They will in fact let you quit and attempt to hire a replacement (emphasis on attempt) because your manager does not have another option.

Your best option is get another job that pays $4 more a hour than you make, get a sign on bonus and be able to sit at desk.
