Frustration with transferring (self.starbucksbaristas)

I have been trying to get a hold of a new SM at a store I’m transferring to but their phone is disconnected and the other store the SM manages, they haven’t been at. I move in 5 weeks and I’m trying to get a head start and I can’t until I verify they can work with my schedule and I’m starting to get very frustrated

You are not guaranteed a transfer. It’s simply a request and you should be in contact with that manager you are transferring to beforehand. There, they will let you know if your availability works for their store and if they can take you on as a transfer.
If this conversation and agreement hasn’t been had, and you haven’t filled out a request form, and your form hasn’t been reviewed by both DMs, then your transfer likely hasn’t even started

Ask someone at one of the stores for the DM's number, if you haven't already called the DM.
