thinking of putting in my two-weeks notice (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by teresa_bee
hey y'all, idk i made a pros and cons list today and all the cons of staying at the job were connected in that it's really taking a toll on my physical and mental health. i'm a full-time student and i do volunteer work on the side, i feel bad because my store is understaffed but they really don't respect boundaries. between the letting customers walk all over us, calling me to come in on my days off, always scheduling me for weekends (when i have weekday availability:^)), etc etc. i get i'm a new partner (barista since july) but damn. sucks bc i like my co-workers and the work itself isn't bad but i've had way too many anxiety attacks over it.

any tips on quitting/how to put in a Starbucks TM two weeks?

I was literally in the same exact situation. I started around July too and my last day is on Wednesday. I am a full time student as well and I would be so exhausted from working that my grades began to slip. Honestly, I did what was best for me and found a new job and put in my two weeks. I personally have nothing against my coworkers, shifts, or store manager but I had to do what was best for my situation. So all I did was find a temple online and used that as my two weeks notice. Always make more than one copy and remind your store manager to make sure they understand what day you are leaving so there!! are no issues with scheduling. I wish you the best!

Literally just Google “two-weeks notice” and copy it and change the details. This time it’s actually okay to copy someone else’s homework. When quitting the wording on it isn’t actually that important, just make sure it does in fact encompass two full weeks and keep it professional.

Look up two weeks notice outline on google and just give it to your manager
