venti cup of pumpkin cream cold foam? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by k_8_lyn
i've had a few people in the last few weeks ask if they can order a venti cup of just pumpkin cream cold foam.. my instinct is to say no because wtf???? but also when i was barring once, a newer barista rang someone up for that and charged them just for the $1 ish foam... i made it cause it was the middle of a big rush and didn't want to deal with it, but it takes forever and seems like there's no right way to charge it?? i'm not sure, i've only been here a year so any thoughts would be helpful!

i would charge it as a venti cold milk and then add pumpkin foam. so the cost of the cold milk + cost of the cold foam. that’s what my supervisor told me in the past

I feel like it should be add hc too, it's a whole cup of sweet cream, not just a layer of foam on regular milk. But I like to make people pay.

It’s so satisfying when people add modifications. I wait for them to complain about the up-charge so I can be like you’re wrong but it never comes :(.

we got told by our DM to ring it us as the corresponding size of pccb. This lady would come by and get 2 ventis a DAY

We don’t sell beverage components/modifiers as beverages. Just like we don’t sell matcha water for .50$, we charge for a custom iced tea + matcha. If someone wanted this in my store, I would let them know that we don’t sell beverage components on their own.. this information is found in the bev resource manual
