Dude that’s the oldest trick in the creep-book. Say “ok! Where’s my photo release form as required by school policy and law?” (I made that up kinda). Unfortunately I can with 100% confidence say he’s either jerking it to them or making voodoo dolls.

Shoulda asked what the project was on

I would try something neutral like
"Okay, I gotta ask, what's this project about?"

If it's chill, no problem.

If the answer is vague or it still makes you uncomfortable, you can say you're not really comfortable with it. If he persists talk to your SM about what's happening. Good luck :)

I think maybe you should report him to the school if you know his name or where he goes? I don’t like the idea of feeling/being unsafe at work.
