Oh, you mean back when Starbucks was a legit coffeehouse chain and not corporate fast food trash?

I was a huge fan of the melon syrup we had for teas. That or Valencia syrup in a green tea lemonade was so refreshing. Ah, memories! My favorite nostalgia drink, honestly, is not coffee. It’s the BlackBerry Green Tea Frappuccino. BB syrup instead of classic in the GTF, and there was a blackberry drizzle that just made the whole thing. I had so many of those in college.
For coffee, I truly miss the almond syrup. A pump or two of that in a white mocha was divine. And the Rwanda Blue Bourbon was the best reserve coffee I can remember tasting.

I miss the almond so much!

Same on the almond syrup in the white mocha. I was using Toffee Nut for a while until every Starbucks everywhere ran out of it, but it never was the same.

I stashed the last bottle in a locker and made myself almond mochas until I transferred.

Dolce de Leche latte was bomb. Signature Hot Chocolate was a pain to make but tasted sublime.

Don't forget Chantico! Only came in 6 oz cups! And those dipping cookies were delicious.

How was the signature hot chocolate made?
Awetmore12318 points1y ago
It was a packet you mixed into milk at the beginning of a shift and then pitchered. Steamed it to heat. The packet made the milk super thick so it was almost heavy cream or eggnog consistency, so it was loud when you steamed it. But it was also delicious especially of you threw a few shots in.

Blackberry green tea frap!

Vivano smoothies, orange mango banana with 14g of protein. There was a Mexican hot chocolate around 2005, can’t remember the name but I loved it. Did anybody like Fizzio, those sodas?

Never knew Starbucks had this. But a place near where I live has an orange mocha and it’s delicious.

Banana Mocha Frappuccino! Using a whole banana is not the same. Also the original strawberry puree.

Valencia orange mocha and Valencia orange in the black tea lemonade. Now they have funnel cake......why?

Customer and I had a whole conversation about the Blackberry Green Tea Frappuccino and how delicious it was the other day. I kinda miss the Very Berry Hibiscus

My roommate and I were both partners and planned out when to markout Arabian mocha Java to get a full pound! Original coconut mocha was so good. RIP Ethiopia Sidamo. I used to love the coffee so much 😢
