Hello, i am a green bean, I applied with open availability everyday and will be needing to change my availability tomorrow, hoping that by nov 1st my future schedules are updated. Usually I open but I will no longer be able to open or work mornings, I will need to close or work evenings and reduce my hours per week. I currently do 25 to 26 hrs a week. Was your SM ok with your change of availability? I’m scared it will be denied because then I will have to quit and I DONT want to do that 🙀 i know some partners that work 2 days a week and I’m assuming it was fine because they may have been there longer. But me over here just started a month ago. (I’m overthinking)

Yeah it should be fine, just like verbally talk to your SM and then submit your new availability. Just make sure to actually talk to them and let them know.

Talk to your SM. If you want to change your availability by November 1 request you’re hours now. Like literally right now. SMs make the schedule 2-3 weeks out and we’re already halfway through October so the next schedule will be Nov 1 and they’ll probably make that Monday.

Thanks she’s on vacation so I haven’t seen her and guess what she comes back Monday so I hope I catch her before she makes the schedules lol I open that day so I’m hoping she comes in before I leave. If not I’ll call her after my shift. Just don’t want to call her while on vacation.

I understand I wouldn’t want to bother my SM on vacation either. Maybe pull her aside as soon as you get in after set up if/when you’re not busy. Be like “hey. I was wondering if we could talk about my hours real quick.” Then talk to her about it. If you have the app you should be able to change your availability on there.
