Just for a muffin (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by InterestingAd334
I was at the warming station where I was about to put a muffin in the oven and I kept over hearing this noise. I turned around it was a red face karen yelling over and over again not warm. I was just so confused and calmly said it wasn’t hers. She then processed to say that well she thought it was. Then just stood there until I got her food item and never even apologized.

Jesus Christ I hate people who can’t comprehend that other people with other orders exist

God this has happened to me. I got fed up attending to customers' beck and call for EVERY little thing, so now I finish whatever I'm doing before getting to them.

Putting whipped cream on a drink and hearing someone go "excuse me??? Excuse me??? I DON'T WANT WHIPPED CREAM?? I DO NOT WANT WHIPPED CREAM"

Turning round holding said drink "just one moment please. MOCHA FOR ABBY?" and then asking what Karen wants. Watching her fumble going "oh sorry nevermind sorry"

I am at peace

Lol reminds me of when a Karen screamed at me during peak "NO WHIP" as I was adding whip to a drink with a sticker that said "add whip"

I didn't add whip, handed her the drink, and then 2 seconds later she said "THIS ISNT MINE"

🙃

Yeah, I always just check the sticker as well. Is your name Karen? No? Then this isn't yours. Same goes for handoff, shouting GREG and Karen comes "is this mine?" NO MA'AM

I love these interactions because I’m a maniac and revel in the opportunity to put them on the spot and ask them to apologize first. Lol. I’ll do it in front of the other customers in line so that they can see what’s happening. You just have to be good at having your sad-innocent face.

“Are you going to apologize? You just yelled at me but you were wrong. When you yell at someone wrongfully you’re supposed to apologize.” I’m an introvert and this interaction gave me such a power high. Lol. I said all that while holding her pastry bag so that she couldn’t leave until I said my speech.
