biggest tip is be patient with yourself! it’ll take at least a few weeks if not months to get comfortable with everything and get into your own groove, especially on bar. a lot of info will get thrown at you your first 1-2 weeks, and it’s going to feel overwhelming, but no one is going to expect you to be perfect, so ask as many questions as you need and take your time! good luck!

the biggest hurtle is showing yourself the kindness needed to learn properly! don’t be hard on yourself, and try and give yourself the same amount of consideration you would give another person who is learning! it takes time, and now, more than ever, the pressure is intense. i’m no longer at starbucks myself, but i’m wishing you all the best!
