I got a job offer this morning and I’m putting in my two weeks notice when I go in tonight. I’m honestly even more stressed now because our store is so short staffed. I’m one of 5 shifts. One other shift is about to transfer and another is a brand new outside hire.
I know I’m leaving this store in rough shape but I can’t keep letting my mental health suffer like this. Just hope our SM doesn’t lose his shit on me when he gets back next week. Our ASM is an angel so I know I’ll go over fine with him at least.

Do what's best for you. Its the responsibility of the company and your manager to keep the store running. If you let the job come before your own health it'll suck you dry till nothing is left.
