I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure this only got made because my shift manager wanted to see if they could. They said if we were busy we would refuse.

They had something on a Weekly Update years ago about beverages having to fit in the cup, specifically around people who were getting free rewards drinks and bringing in Big Gulp cups to get maximum artery clog. I would imagine that the only way someone would put this through mobile is if it was with their free drink, but I am sure the rule is the same regardless... (bend over backwards for the customer ;))

As others have stated, it’s whatever fits into the cup they ordered in. It’s also since it’s against policy to use personal cups bigger than the ordered size. You have to measure with a paper, then pour.

So when people say “if there’s extra frap can I have it” or the extra foam (one batch makes for two drinks since it has to cover the blades to foam)… I say no. And they get pissy: “but they always” —no.
Best is to just be like, “I apologize, but that is against our policy. We have a lot of new partners, so I’ll be sure to talk to my team to ensure you have a more consistent experience.”
After the aforementioned, a lady legit said, “You’d rather toss it out (foam), then give it to me?” Straight up said, “Yes.” And tossed in out right in front of her. The dumbfounded lip quiver was amazing. She was literally speechless and walked out.

Anywho, for example, a venti frap with 5 shots and extra ice still can’t go into a trenta cup (we don’t serve trenta fraps because 30oz is the average stomach size (and 70g of sugar in a venti is too much already)).
Besides, these are (almost) always star rewards. On mobile they added the qty. 12 limit because of these but should really cap it at 3 mods max.

They ordered a single venti sized drink no matter the over flow the rest goes in the trash. You paid for one venti you only get one venti. Its the same with fraps if they order so much stuff that there is extra left over it goes down the drain they don't get it in a second cup
