What did you do during your "official" training days? I've also been working for around three weeks, four days a week and I was only JUST really put on bar yesterday! Every other time I was on bar I asked for it so I could get some practice in during our slow time at the end of the night, or I just wound up over there because we got slammed all of a sudden and I noticed they needed the extra set of (slow, clumsy) hands. But yeah, yesterday was the first time that I was asked to be on bar. I've been mostly doing drive thru, but like I said, I was definitely learning and practicing both simultaneously. Definitely ask your shift for some time on register/DT, and if they refuse and keep putting you on bar even if you say you're not super confident/comfortable there, talk to your manager.

I also started 3 weeks ago and I’m also just thrown onto things. Drive through and cafe register are stressful enough but pretty self explanatory and I can do them by myself when needed. When I’m thrown on bar though, I’m completely clueless. I know learning from experience is best but I will 100% mess up every single drink if I don’t have someone helping me. I feel like they kinda just expect us to know everything.
